Sacrifice of love

Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.- John15:13

And walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.- Ephesians 5:2
For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” -Galatians 5:14But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased. -Hebrews 13:16.

The sacrifice of love doesn’t mean killing yourself for love. It is a simple commandment that says love your neighbor as yourself. Because we care for ourselves more than we care for others so, when we care for our neighbor we care for ourselves too.
